Security and Acceptable Use Policy

Vision Spy is committed to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and legal compliance. This Security and Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") ensures that our platform is used safely and lawfully. It applies to all customers and authorized users and forms part of your agreement with Vision Spy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all access to Vision Spy, including via web interface, API, or integrated workflows. Users must review and comply with this Policy at all times. Report violations to [email protected].

Vision Spy may suspend or terminate access if we determine that a user or organization has violated this Policy or applicable law.

2. Appropriate and authorized use

Users must use Vision Spy only for purposes authorized by their organization and within the scope of lawful professional, investigative, or intelligence activities.

Personal use, unauthorized third-party access, or use outside the mission of the subscribing organization is prohibited unless expressly permitted in writing.

3. Prohibited uses

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, stalking, swatting, cyberstalking, threats, abuse, bullying, or facilitating harm against persons or property.
  • Any activity that violates Spanish, EU, or other applicable criminal, data protection, or export control law.
  • Uploading images of minors under 16 years of age unless the content relates to conduct you reasonably believe may violate applicable law or concerns a legitimate public safety investigation, and processing is lawful under the GDPR and LOPDGDD.
  • Circumventing access controls, probing system vulnerabilities, or distributing malware.
  • Sharing credentials or analysis outputs with unauthorized parties.

4. Export and sanctions compliance

Users must comply with applicable EU and Spanish export control regulations, as well as sanctions regimes enforced by the European Union and competent national authorities.

You represent that you and your users are not located in, or controlled by, territories or entities subject to applicable trade restrictions, and that you will not provide access to prohibited parties or jurisdictions.

5. Results and verification

Geolocation and intelligence results produced by Vision Spy are indicative, not definitive. While we apply rigorous models and confidence scoring, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy.

Customers must conduct independent verification before taking operational, disciplinary, or legal action based on results.

Results are not intended to serve as sole admissible evidence in judicial proceedings without independent corroboration and appropriate legal review. Consult qualified legal counsel regarding evidentiary use.

6. Account security

Organizations are responsible for all activity under user accounts and for maintaining credential confidentiality. Enforce strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available.

Immediately notify [email protected] of any unauthorized access, credential compromise, or suspected security incident.

7. Enforcement

Vision Spy monitors for abuse indicators consistent with privacy-by-design principles and legal obligations. We may investigate reported violations, preserve relevant logs, and cooperate with competent authorities when legally required.

Repeated or serious violations may result in immediate suspension, termination, and notification to the customer organization.
